Grades 7-12 at our Native American High School
From the moment our upper school students arrive, we immerse them in life-changing academic experiences so they become independent and confident adults. Shortly after orientation, our students are provided academic and guidance counseling to set them on the best path.
Students in grades 7-12 at our Native American high school attend classes at nearby Hartshorne High School, enriched by programs at Jones Academy. At our new Student Success Center, 7-12th grade students study together during co-ed study hall each school night from 6 to 8, Sunday though Thursday. As an incentive for academic excellence, students can earn rewards such as gift cards or a pizza and movie trip for making Honor Roll. Students also prepare together with teachers and staff for standardized testing. To ensure every student can achieve success, we also offer special education placement for grades 7-12. All students benefit from our innovative Student Success Center, which offers coaches, tutoring and the necessary equipment for education.
Caring for students is our passion. Every member of our staff treats each child as if they were their own – just like any parent. Small classrooms ensure individual attention is focused on our students. Our caring and enthusiastic staff provide opportunities to challenge students and create a supportive environment.
Heard in our Halls
“Everything you do as a parent: we do. Anything you would do to prepare your child for college or a post-secondary career, we take care of that. If kids need help with their FAFSA, or wants to tour a training program, or needs grief counseling – whatever the need, that’s what we do. That’s essentially what I’ve done here for 23 years.”
